Transporter T5 with double cabin
The Transporter T5 that falls in the range of 2003-2015 received a facelift in 2010/2011. For example, the petrol variant came with a 2.0 engine with 115 hp and 170 nM (torque). The 2.0 engine was available with the TSI version (2011) which produced 204 hp with a torque of 350 Nm. A very powerful van.
The diesel variant had different 2.0 TDI engines. These vary between 84 hp/220 Nm to 180 hp/400 Nm. The diesel variants have considerably more torque than the petrol or natural gas variants. If you have a full car with people and cargo, a diesel is definitely recommended. Even if you want to connect an extra trailer.
Transporter T6 with double cabin
The Volkswagen Transporter T6 with a double cabin saw the light of day in 2015 and received additional diesel variants in 2016. The exterior also received a nice upgrade with beautiful LED lighting at the front and rear, but also a heated windscreen and electrically operated tailgate were optional. The model is available in manual or automatic transmission, with a choice of five- or six-speed manual transmission. The automatic transmission is a seven-speed automatic, also known as the DSG.

Ford Transit Custom Double Cab
The Ford Transit Custom is a version of the former Ford Transit. The first production of the Transit Custom started in 2012. From 2016, the Ford Transit Custom received a nice facelift. Ford's goal was to become the best counterpart to the Volkswagen Transporter.

Transit Custom 2012-2016
There were three variants of the Transit Custom from 2012 to 2016. Although with the same model, the 2.2 TDCi, but with different engines. The engine with 100 hp had a torque of 310 Nm, the second version came with a 125 hp engine with a torque of 350 Nm, finally the last version came with a 155 hp engine with a torque of 385 Nm.
